Daniel Lenko
Born and raised on the family farm, Daniel is a 3rd generation viticulturalist - winemaker. Daniel's interests are fast cars, cooking and restoring antique machinery. Daniel leads by example and works daily with staff in all areas of the winery and farm business. By working together with employees, living onsite, and with the winery being his only occupation, Daniel creates a unique workplace culture. Daniels motto is "Enthusiasm and curiosity go hand in hand, not only are we excited with the wines we produce we are always reviewing and improving our approach to create wines which exceed our customers expectations".

Abraham Fehr
It is apparent from the moment that you meet Abe Fehr that he is a man of conviction. Abe grew up on a mixed farm in Chihuahua, Mexico and is the vineyard lead hand at Daniel Lenko Estate Winery. Abe and his wife Margaret live in Niagara on the Lake with their three children Abrahm, Anna and Margaret. Abe enjoys time spent with family, church, and the Mexican Mennonite community. With over 10 years of experience at one of the largest vineyards in Niagara Abe brings a wealth of knowledge, innovation, and inspiration to the Lenko team.

Shelly Murre
A life long Niagara resident, Shelly grew up just down the street in the small town of Vineland. She and her husband Ray now live on the Beamsville Bench with their two children, Thomas and Jessica. After starting their family in 2002, Shelly decided to become a stay at home mom and homemaker, until last year when she joined us here at Daniel Lenko Estate Winery. With a love for the farm, good wine, good food, and people, the tasting room and retail sales was a natural fit . Shelly is currently enrolled part time at Niagara College, working on both the Master Taster and Wine Marketing and Management certificate programs. Shelly is cheerful and knowledgable and is eager to help you with all of your wine needs.

Blackie The Dog
Blackie #5 is a 13 (91) year old Border Collie. With 30 acres that he calls his domain, Blackie
walks the property daily inspecting the vineyards. On weekends Blackie greets customers
and herds them towards the tasting room door. Blackie enjoys pickup truck rides, golf cart
rides, wagon rides .... well you get the picture; pretty much any type of ride. During harvest
Blackie will assess grape maturity by sampling grapes, when he runs away with whole
bunches; we know its time to harvest.
